France launches FrancoTech, the trade fair for innovation in French

Create, innovate and do business in French

On the sidelines of the Villers-Cotterêts Summit, organized jointly by France with the International Organisation of La Francophonie, the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is launching a trade fair for innovation in French, FrancoTech, on 3 and 4 October. The General Secretariat of the Francophonie Summit entrusted Business France with its organization, in close partnership with the Alliance of Francophone Employers. The event, which will help to illustrate the Summit’s theme “Create, innovate and do business in French”, will be held in Paris at the world’s largest start-up campus, STATION F.

More than 1,500 people from the Francophone world representing 100 nationalities and all continents will participate in business meetings. FrancoTech will also feature more than 150 stands, with some 100 entrepreneurs vying for one of the three “Grand Prix de l’Innovation FrancoTech 2024” awards and some 50 high-level conference participants: entrepreneurs and representatives from civil society and local governments.

Within the context of the fair’s themes – artificial intelligence, trusted digital technology, food security, transport and logistics, education and financing of innovation – participants will be able to meet clients, suppliers and partners, promote their solutions and discover the latest innovations in the Francophone space. They will discuss current strategic issues with the French language as a common good and the intention to build sustainable partnerships.

Building economic ties in la Francophonie

The aim is also to vitalize trade and economic flows within the Francophone space, and to promote and share offerings, services, products and innovative models as well as Francophone business success stories.

FrancoTech is not only a special prestigious event, it is also the first in a series of initiatives aiming to develop a modern, innovative and inclusive economic Francophonie, while respecting its diversity.
